How about how rarely the Cleveland Indians finish above .500 in a single season? This has to be tantamount to lightning striking 10 times in the same place.

I see your are a writer in Ohio. Would that be Cleveland Ohio? The Indians did pretty good under Mike Hargrove in the 1990's. It's a shame they didn't win a world series during that span. They lost to Atlanta in the 1995 World Series and to Florida in the 1997 World Series.

However, recently, .500 ball has been a challenge for Cleveland, falling under that mark from 2002-2004, but they bounced back last season.
